WT Riding @ Fun Spot

Yesterday, JeffyD, Gonzo, our friend Dustin and I drove up to Santa Cruz to go ride "Fun Spot". A bike only park, right down the street from the Boardwalk. Towards the end of the session we were lucky enough to have the entire park to ourselves, and decided to take some pictures, and film a little bit for the next Wheel Talk Edit. (Not going to be called WT 4) The New Frames handled ridiculously in the park. The slanted seat tube angle, and slammed seat gave us more room to dip/tweak the bike more than ever before. Making 180's on the quarter pipe feel like butta'.

  1. Hello there. I have to admit that your shots are really awesome. Could you kindly enlighten me about your tools of trade? And do you tweak your shots with Lightroom? Thanks alot :)

  2. Yeah I use a mixture of LightRoom 2.0 and Photoshop CS4 to edit my photos. In order to make the subjects in photos above pop, I desaturated all of the white/black/gray parts using the brush tool in LightRoom. That way they dont have the same orange/blue hue in them like the rest of the picture.

  4. I shoot with a Cannon Rebel XSI using a stock lens. Alot of my effects aren't in camera. It's all about the way you process and edit your photos. Just remmber one thing. Once a shitty picture, always a shitty picture. You can't take a bad photo, and turn it into gold. Just take a good picture with a solid exposure, then have fun in Lightroom.
