Here's a look @ the new
female front hub that'll be rocking on the PFIX upon its release. Female hubs are definitely a step in the right direction, and eliminate the need to run 14mm axles to prevent bent and broken axles. The hub doesn't use axels, instead it uses 2 3/8 forged alloy bolts that thread into the hub body locking the wheel to the fork. They're more lightweight and you don't need to go out and get a new fork with 14mm drops to run it.
